The shoot yesterday was amazing!

Just put out a casting call on model mayhem... Looking for new faces for my Boudoir, Glamour and Head Shot portfolio. Its a great deal for aspiring models and creatives looking to start or add to their port. And , of course I get fresh faces for my port.

Today I was scheduled to photograph a couple vacationing at the Wynn hotel.  It was suppose to be a 2 hour portrait session. Yesterday when I reached out to them, I was told one fell ill. I received a text today saying that the person was still sick.  I began wondering if I should charge a small deposit for these 2-hour photo shoots. Now don't me wrong, I have no doubt the client had a legitimate reason to cancel. Yet, I'm wrestling with rather I should charge a deposit for short term shoots,  after all that time slot isn't available for another shoot. I do charge deposits for weddings and other celebrations that take a minimum 4hours to shoot. I have to give this more thought.

A couple of weeks ago I joined a referral site called "Thumbtack". Every day I get request for quotes. So far I've booked 6 jobs. Its a great service and I know it will continue to yield great results...

  Had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful wedding. The wedding took place in a vinyard in Temecular California. The surrounding were stunning.  Below is the review.
  
  
  In preparing for our 25th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal Ceremony we found ourselves in a rush to find a replacement photographer when ours suddenly became unavailable! Emanuel graciously accepted a last minute booking and took the stress out of what was meant to be a beautiful day. On the day of our ceremony he arrived early and showed so much "quiet" professionalism and artistic prowess it immediately put me at ease. He captured the most special moments without any direction from us; he just seemed to 'know' what we would most want memorialized. What an blessing he turned out to be! Our ceremony was beautiful and Emanuel's photos captured it flawlessly. My husband and I are forever grateful and would highly recommend this photography company to anyone!
